Are you Ready?

Trek starts tomorrow! Are you ready? Here's a last minute checklist.

Have you packed your clothes and toiletries in your 5-gallon bucket?

Have you packed your sleeping bag and pillow into large trash bags and labeled them all?

Click the links for the packing list and girls' clothing and boys' clothing lists to double check you have what you need.

FOR TOMORROW:

Please arrive at the Battle Mountain Chapel by 8am dressed in church clothing. Bring all your trek gear packed and ready to go.

Separate from your 5-gallon bucket you should have a set of pioneer clothes packed in a small duffle bag or back pack. In that bag you should also have a name printed and ready to do the baptism at the temple and your temple recommend. These bags will stay with you as we travel to Utah. After the temple you will change into your pioneer clothes at one of the chapels close to the temple. Your church clothes will go into your duffle bag and it will be stored in a trailer until after trek.

The rest of your gear - the sleeping bags and pillows and your 5 gallon bucket - will be loaded into trailers and taken directly to the Mosida Trek site. The quartermaster crew will set up tents and have your sleeping bags and buckets placed where you will be sleeping with your trek family. This will be ready for us when we arrive there.

Breakfast will be provided at the chapel in Battle Mountain. Lunch sacks will be provided to eat as we travel to Utah. Dinner will be served at the Mosida Trek site.

REMEMBER: No cameras are allowed. Dave and Joan Munk from the Winnemucca 2nd Ward are the official trek photographers. They have been preparing since last fall to make sure the great moments of trek are captured.

We look forward to seeing all your bright smiling faces tomorrow!
