- 2-3 pioneer shirts (cotton, long sleeved, button up shirt)
- 2 lightweight Docker/cotton pants - NO denim! (Jeans rub in the wrong spots), NO cargo or camouflage pants.
- Wide brimmed hat with a stampede strap (to keep hat from flying away in the wind)
- shoulder pouch (optional) you need something to carry your water bottle if it doesn't have a clip
- good broken in tennis shoes or boots - preferably no mesh to reduce blisters
- socks - two layers help to keep blisters down. Thin nylon anklet (liner) socks - to help stop blisters from forming and also hiking or cotton socks 3 pairs of each
- underwear 3 sets
- leather or gardening gloves
- neckerchief (provided by the stake)
- Pajamas to sleep in
